"I am very impressed with this little tractor. I bought it to remove snow from the driveway and street, since they don't seem to plow here in Spokane. I'm impressed with the quality of this machine. It's nothing like a lawn tractor, which I had been using with a snow thrower attachment. It's 4-wheel drive and has lots of power! It's built like a rock. I'm looking forward to putting it to a lot of use, just not sure what besides the snow removal for now. I wouldn't hesitate to get one of these."
"The B-6100 is a tough little tractor and very reliable. My one serious concern is that it seems top heavy. The slightest change in the land (even a hump in our driveway) will make it start to tip. I finally tipped it over this week hauling some dirt in my vineyard. The front end loader was low but it still went over and I jumped off without being hurt. It landed on its side.I may look for a larger compact tractor with more weight.I own several large Massey tractors, I just need a compact I feel safe on that replaces a wheel barrow. Nothing big. "
"I have owned and operated this tractor since it was purchased new. The engine and transmission still work great. Both are original and never needed repair. It is the best little diesel tractor I have ever owned."
"I purchased this tractor primarily to mow a 20 acre Christmas Tree Farm. It quickly let me know it was up to that task and much more. Anything I could do with a larger tractor, my Kubota would do as well. It is very reliable and as others have stated, it starts in the coldest of weather. It's size is great, it will go where others won't and get the job done. It has great power for such a small size! It is one tough little hombre. It handles well in steep territory while pulling a five foot Bush Hog brand finish mower. I've since plowed, logged, disked, maintained farm roads, installed food plots and anything else I wanted to do! I love my B6100 HST MFWD!! "
"This is a great little tractor. Starts well in our cold Canadian climate. It is a bit light for some work though. The 3 point hitch is quite strong. I have a heavy duty 5 foot scraper blade on it. It has 6 forward gears and 2 reverse gears. Very easy on fuel. It doesn't have power steering, but it's very easy to steer."
"This tractor has mowed 2+ acres for about 22 years using a Woods RM48 & RM 400. I didn't properly care for the RM48, the deck rusted out because of not cleaning the grass from below. Also not crazy about it hanging off the 3 point and the 2 trailing wheels. Sold it for parts. Replacement was/still is a Woods RM400 I found at a garage sale and price was more than right (haul away - no repairs except replace the blades!). I added full caster wheels to the front and it has done a great job since. Now mostly use a ZTR, much faster, but still use the RM400 when I want to be left alone for a few hours. The only tractor issue: loosing both brakes at different occasions because of the brake gears shearing. Otherwise it fits on the back of a pick-up and and has the features of the older tractors, sliding rear wheel track on axles, good ground clearance, etc. This 14HP Kubota, with tire fluid and tire chains has pulled a few 3/4 & 1 Ton Pick-ups out of the roadside ditch during a few winters. It also has given the edge to 2 empty tri-axles spinning wheels on wet grass and a slight slope, and you cannot make that up! Too bad not built in the U.S.A. but then as now, still the same issue. None this size made in the U.S.A. That's 34 years. We are all loosing out! The K-420 tiller (KUBOTA engineered this so well, they stopped making it. Probably because all that needs replacing are the tines and it is a fine piece of equipment). It has earned it's keep. Tines replacement = (28 - 14L & 14R cost went from $2.00 a piece to $10.00), but now no one seems to have them. They fit other tillers as well, and the manufacturer in Italy has discontinued production. If any one knows a supplier having these tines or knows of a sub. aside from buying a newer tiller, I would appreciate the info. Thanks in advance."
"I just bought my little Kubota. Looks in pretty good condition still after many years. It has relatively low hours. Previous owner was taking care fairly well. It looks cold starting has little wait time but otherwise run great. Will see real future performance and I will leg know pool."
"I bought the B6100 in a deal for my house and land. It had just over 400 hours on it in 1992 and the previous owner had kept it outside uncovered. I cleaned it up, touched up the orange paint, and have been working it hard ever since: hogging felled timber, mowing pastures, grading, hauling citrus and firewood, disc and harrowing horse paddocks, pulling hay wagons, you name it. Just had a hydraulic pipe burst, but quick work with a welding torch and it's back in service. It's lost some compression over the years and I daydream about a new tractor now and then, but heck, this little workhorse is like one of the family. "
"Haven't had it long."
"After reviewing my needs (wants) for a long time I got my B6100 in Sept 2011. After some initial trials I really love this litlle tractor. One of the best thing is the FEL. I have used it quite a lot since I bought it and I have spent time swapping parts. Next project will be change the wiring. "
