"This Pasquali 991 with 24 HP Lombardini single cylinder machine seems way more powerful than the stated 24 horse. This machine has been used and abused for over 30 years. In that time, I had one major breakdown that I was able to fix myself. The design of the machine is no-nonsense. I have had to install a few stub axles probably because of the 6 hundred pounds of weight I added on the back so I could effectively us the front end loader. After all these years I'm still impressed by this machine."
"We bought this tractor used to do work at our ranch, dig footings, maintain the road, move material, etc. Its power and capability has far exceeded my expectations. It will dig in very hard ground with the loader bucket and push large loads, though not real fast. It had had a complete overhaul back in 1997 and aside from a worn out steering tie-rod tapered stud, we have not had any problems."
"Quite a machine as compared to a conventional-steering tractor. My 1980s 993 has a 30hp 2cyl air-cooled Ruggerini diesel, articulating steering, cat 1 3pt, European & USA 2sp PTOs, original Pasqualli loader, diff-lock on front axle, 15x15.5 tires. Purchased the machine used, unknown amount of hours on machine, due to lack of hour meter/tachometer. But added a diesel Mini-tach to monitor vitals, plan on adding oil pressure gauge next."
