"I had trouble with the tractor overheating. Thought it was a head gasket, but when I had the head magnafluxed I found many cracks and was told it couldn't be repaired. I've been looking for a cylinder head. Found one for $1000.00 +shipping. That is more than I want to pay. If any one knows where I might get parts, I would be grateful."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Lots of power, easy to start. Cons: Availability of parts. Type of User: Homeowner 10-50 Acres Location: USA NY I also considered buying:

"Forget the title, just my little joke. The 384 for it's age is a good solid machine. Mine had been with a car company for 10 years of it's life clearing snow every winter. Though they did not really care for it that much, as was evident by the amount of minor issues I found after purchase. Oil and fuel leaks being the main, which a simple tightening corrected. Mine came with a front loader and rear block. The cabin was solid and in good order. Electrics were a different story, lights were re-routed as were the lights actually. Steering is a little wobbly which I will correct this coming summer. Engine seems good, clean start up, no smoke from the stack. PTO end not really used, but works when tested as do rear hydraulics. I am happy with it, another year will tell another story ... maybe"

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Cheap, front loader. solid build, sound engine. Cons: Leaks a little too much, but that is down to poor maintenance. Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: EUR OT I also considered buying:
