"Last year, we bought a new Kubota tractor. I took the ad for Pat's quick hitch to my dealer to compare with the much larger, and more expensive, quick hitch he was selling. My dealer said there was no reason Pat's wouldn't work just as well and in fact his sales manager had a Pat's on his personal tractor! I've been very satisfied with this product. "

Works But

"Easy hitch did what it says. It was easy to hitch to the brush hog and box blade. But now the but: adjusting bolts They bend too easy, and sadly while in use the brush hog came loose from the easy hitch. That would be okay if I had a flat field, but mine isn't,. When I hit a low spot, the tractor would go one way, and the implement would go the other way. I got stuck too many times. The easy hitch is now off and I wish I could sell it. Problem with the box blade: I could not go backwards and push. It was the same thing - it would come loose. It is easier for me to struggle with hitching up than to fight with the pats easy hitch."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: It is easy to use, hitches quickly Cons: Comes loose when in hard use, adjusting bolts bend Type of User: Homeowner 50-100 Acres Location: USA OK I also considered buying:

"As far as the four 3/8 bolts go, I kept changing the length of bolt so they screw in all the way and are not sticking out. I did not use the u-bolts but used the shims. All my implements are of different widths so I let the adapters a little loose. My biggest problem is the snow moves the safety latches when plowing deep snow. I don't have the cast ones. I have the ones that were plasma cut. I always get off the tractor to hook mine up. I have to hook up the hydraulic top link, the shaft, and the hoses. I just line up and lift the arms to hook up. I made extra washers for all my implements. I wanted to buy a weld on end so I can take the top link and have that on the same principle. I made adapters on all the implements to compensate for the added 4 inches. For the mower, I added a clutch which was exactly 4 inches. I know it says to add a longer top link but being hydrostatic, I avoided the extra cost that way. My arms have adjustable sway bar links so I don't have a lot of play. "

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Iys a lot quicker to hook up, I am not always changing the sway bar adjustment Cons: Wish I had the cast iron ones Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: USA PA I also considered buying:

Top Link Modifications

"As explained in the sales literature, you are most certainly going to have to replace the top link. None of my Kubota top links were long enough so I had to cut them and weld in 6-inch pipe extensions to them. However, I have not had to replace any power take-off shafts because when I had to shorten some of them for use with my power take-off driven implements, I shortened them as little as possible just in case an issue like this should arise. Therefore, there is sufficient overlap of the two parts of the power take-off shaves, but check your operator's manual for each implement to be certain you will have enough overlap because it does set the tool at least 4 inches further back. In addition, I had to add more front-end ballast for my sprayer because the front end became too light with a full tank. These also can cause reduced turning radius clearance for implements that are not 3-point hitch mounted. They caused an issue like this with my mower caddy when I turned sharply, so I completely removed the movable hitch devices to which these couplers are connected, and the issue was resolved, but not before I bent one of the unlocking levers on the new coupler. "

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Easy to use and a frustration saver Cons: Moves the tool rearward 4 inches or more, thus moving the center of gravity further back and top link modification may be necessary Type of User: Commercial Farmer Location: USA SC I also considered buying:

Attention: Tractor With Sway Bar Connection At Ball Joint
rating

Model year: 2016 Date Purchased: 2016-03-30 Number of Hours:

"For tractors with the sway bar attachment at the ball joint, such as my Ford 340-B, the company website does not address this problem. Contact the manufacturer for longer pins so the sway bar can be attached on the outside of the adapter. Also, the supplied alignment bolts, for outside, are too long which interferes with the angle the sway bar attaches. Simple solution: I purchased four shorter bolts so that the sway bar could be attached at the proper angle. Again, this is something that the factory should have addressed. The system works great. I should have purchased much earlier. Not being so frustrated while changing implements has probably added three years to my life. "

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Works well Cons: Factory needs to be aware of sway bars that attach at lift arm ball joint Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: USA NC I also considered buying:

"I have a John Deere 2300 compact utility with implements from several manufacturers. I got Pat's Easy Change for Christmas two years ago and I love it! I used to use John Deere's iMatch but it didn't work with all the implements. Pat's works with everything I have and hooking it up is a breeze. It is rugged and well built. I wouldn't be caught without it now. "

"The ones I got are the cast versions not the welded and seem like they will last the life of the tractor. They work extremely well and made switching implements a breeze. I have a couple friends that have used my tractor since I installed these and they were able to use them with no instruction and highly approved of them! My driveshafts had plenty of length and so did my upper link to account for the small change in lower link length. I don't understand why some people complain about their driveshaft and upper link length, it's not in the easy change's ability to know about every tractor. These are items every tractor owner should know to check and how to compensate for differences. "

Pros: easy to use Cons: non yet Type of User: Homeowner 10-50 Acres Location: USA ME I also considered buying: New Holland Boomer 50
