Model year: 1990 Date Purchased: 2013-06-10 Number of Hours: 1115

"This is a great machine. It has really innovative features for it's time. Power-shift, 12x4, 4-range transmission with creep, position and draft control, dry brakes, externally accessible (30 minute brake job). Very solid and dependable. I bought mine used and have had some issues to work out due to abuse, but I can't fault the machine for any of this. It has 33 engine hp / 27 PTO hp. It runs a 5' rotary cutter and 6' tiller very well. Because of it's weight, it performs like a larger machine."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Dependable, good fuel economy, power-shift, well-built machine. Cons: Only 1 reverse gear in each range, PTO not independent. Type of User: Commercial Landscape Location: USA OR I also considered buying: John Deere 3038E, Kubota L3600

"I've had the 336D for over a year and it's been a great tractor. The clutch was stuck when I bought it, but it freed after I sprayed brake cleaner in an access hole in the transmission housing, and drove it around for a few days. It's a solid and reliable machine. I've used it to move soil and gravel, move snow, pull trees, and bush hog. It does leak from the front hubs, but I filled the front axle with Lucas hub oil, and the leak is now very slow. I just need to top it up 3 or 4 times a year. "

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Sturdy and reliable. Cons: Leaky front hubs. Type of User: Homeowner 10-50 Acres Location: USA ME I also considered buying:

"What a nice tractor! Power to spare and the automatic over standard trans shift is an awesome feature. Even has a creeper gear that is a big help when trying to get out of a deep mud hole. Came with factory backhoe. All works well. "

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Runs well, easy to shift with automatic feature but can choose to use clutch, easy on fuel. Cons: Leaks gear oil at front axels, not good for such a low hour unit, hard to fill trans as fill is under steering wheel - designer obviously never tried to fill from that spot! Type of User: Homeowner 10-50 Acres Location: USA ME I also considered buying:
