"Last August, after much research, I purchased a Titan MX with a 54 inch mulching deck to replace my 1994 Toro 4-16-8 Garden Tractor. It is my first ZTR mower so it took me a while to get used to driving it. When I stored it for the winter, it had about 12 hours of use. On May 2nd of this year, I was going to mow and when I turned the key, nothing happened. Fortunately, I still have the 4-16-8 so I was able to get my yard cut. I called the dealer and they came out and picked up my mower. After 20 days (waiting to get a replacement battery from Toro), they returned it and told me that Toro has had issues with batteries but they had given me a new battery and I was "good to go". After about 21 more hours of use the same problem is back! This time, I took the battery to a dealer and they said it was run down, but still good. I recharged it and the mower is working again. Needless to say, the dealer has it again and is searching for whatever is draining the battery. I also installed a Femco sunshade, but the ROPS bar is tilted forward so my shade is also tilted. It still works, however---unlike the mower! "

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: The seat is very comfortable and when it runs, it's easy on gas. The cut looks great and is even on my sloped areas. Cons: The mowing deck has a wash port on each side but the cheap, plastic connector is useless. They should have used brass ones! The location of the brake lever is poor. "This is a grass cutting machine. I cut about 5 acres every other week. Lots of trees and fences. Hills and old terraces as well. I can do that in just over 2 hours and on about 2 gallons of fuel. So far it's well built, strong, holds slopes well and muscles through tough high grass. One of the best machines I have used. Previously owned a Husqvarna GT hydro and Hustler ZTR. Both cut grass just fine but this MX is a clear step above. Commercial quality machine and results. Well worth the money."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Deck access for cleaning, comfort of the suspension seat is wonderful, power of the hydro motors and grip of the tires is above average. Size of front wheels are superior. Grease points are adequate. Deck float is excellent and does not scalp at all. Cut is excellent. Handles are comfortable, dampers and feedback is excellent. Cons: Motor air filtration is poor and needs to be attended carefully. Location of the brake is poor and regularly catches on pants and is accidentally dislocated. Does not come with the easy to lower ROPS system and should. The deck opening design should just be the same as the full commercial deck so you can fit aftermarket power chutes to it. Would be easy to do that without any effort. They may fit but it would be a risk and trial and error. Type of User: Homeowner 10-50 Acres Location: USA SC I also considered buying: Husqvarna GTH27V52LS
