"I purchased my TYM after doing some exstensive research on my own. Other than having some bolts come loose, I have only had one Big Complaint. Trying to get Feedback from TYM is IMPOSSIBLE!!! I wanted my tractor to have Ag tires but in order to get it quicker, it was delivered with industrials with the agreement that they would swap out the industrials for Ags as soon as they became available as this was during the tire shortage timeframe. It took me personally calling TYM and telling them if I didn't have my tires in 2 weeks, they could come pick up the tractor at my dealers lot and I would hire an attorney to get my $$ back. I then finally got feedback and my tires! I called TYM again recently for a warranty issue and have yet to get a response. I had to pay $517.00 for shop repair that should have been covered (at least partial payment) by TYM. All I can say is, I am Very Happy with the performance of the Tractor , but if you need to contact TYM for any reason at all.....GOOD LUCK. They will not even respond to my dealer. They claim to have a 5 Year Warranty, but what good is the warranty when they REFUSE to even call the owner back??? Overall....Great Tractor thus far but could not be more Disappointed with TYM CUSTOMER SERVICE ! Actually, I would have to say there is no customer service. There is a number they say you can call, and eventually someonw will answer, and they WILL be Polite and tell you they will get back to you, BUT THEY WONT......This is NOT the kind of service I would call even call Fair."

"My dad purchased a Tym 603 model from Cox Tractor in KingsPort,Tn in 2011. The front axle mounting bracket had bushings missing, bolts kept falling out because of missing bushings, bolts falling out of frame that holds the bucket on, where the bucket frame mounts to the tractor the frame broke on the actual tractor in two places, bolt broke out of top post on bucket, link broke into on bucket."

"First off, this has been my first and only tractor so far... so by no means am I a tractor expert. This is a 2009 TYM 603 with Cab and TYM BT400 backhoe w/thumb. My dealer said it came from another dealer who went bankrupt so the tractor had been sitting outside on the lots for a while. I own a 35 acre parcel that sits on a Colorado mountaintop at 9400ft elevation. The parcel is heavily forested with 60ft pine and aspen trees and has a 1/2 mile of road which rises 150ft over it's length. On this property, there is a tremendous amount of forestry work that takes place as well as road work and snow plowing in winter (we got 400 inches of snow last season). Typically, for forestry work... the TYM will be used to drag trees with a chain, move logs and brush with the FEL bucket or with a FEL grapple and the backhoe is used to elevate tree trunks for chainsaw cutting as well as ripping out stumps. A 3-point log splitter is used to split firewood. There is also a 3-point wood chipper to chip the smaller trees and branches. For road work, the backhoe is used for drainage digging along the road (there are 3 switchbacks along the road) and the bucket is used for scraping. For grading road base, the snowplow is also used. The mountain is mostly rock and any backhoe or bucket digging quickly results in lots of rock (probably 70% rock/30% dirt). Also there are large boulders that must be moved with the bucket, grapple or backhoe. For snow plowing... the TYM has snow chains on all 4 wheels and a 9ft trip-edge snowplow moves a huge amount of snow. The heated cab is great and frequently I must have the window and sunroof open to not overheat. I have had several issues with the tractor that the dealer has worked to address and other issues that I have addressed. The thumb valve on the backhoe has had a spool leaking problem and the valve has been replaced but the leaking occasionally occurs and o-rings must be changed, etc. A backhoe hose developed a leak and had to be replaced. Also, some of the backhoe control lever linkages wore out and had to be replaced. Part of the FEL linkage broke when doing some heavy lifting with the grapple and when I received the replacement parts, I had them reinforced with more steel so the break wouldn't happen again. After heavy use, the bottom of the bucket bowed in the middle making it difficult to scrape level as well as making it difficult to attach the bucket tooth bar. I had the bottom of the bucket replaced with armor steel and now it doesn't bow at all. Because I have no means of transporting the tractor and because my dealer is several hours away, I repair and mod what I can to avoid transport costs to the dealer. Some parts of the tractor are plastic that I wish were metal but that's the world we live in. All in all, I have been very happy with this machine and the work she does... I couldn't manage this property without her!"

"Radiator fins too close together causes dirt to restrict air flow. Automobile rad. is not for tractor use. I could go on and on, but it looks like lack of hands on experience is the result of this design. Cab controls are not in the proper place. I have had lots of tractors that never gave these kinds of problems. They need to consult with the consumer and have a result in a great product. My 603 has really tested my patients, since I do tractor work full time. It decides not to run the pto every once in a while. We and the dealer have tried several things and it still likes to not work. But that is not my main problem. The fins are so closed together on the radiator and ac condenser that the thing over heats every day unless you blow it out daily. I have over 40 years of working around tractors and never had this kind of problem. My Massey 563 has never been cleaned out at the radiator and it is one year older than this 2007 TYM. What am I going to do? They replaced the radiator once and said it was an upgraded one. Same problem next day. What were they thinking? "stay out of dirty places? Update... TYM upgraded the wiring harness as a factory defect which was the PTO problem. They took care of it at the dealership, along with a new clutch , pressure plate, etc, that took care of the shaking when the clutch was released. It now has a bad oil leak and bad squeak in the cab that is LOUD! I did put an Ebay purchased, 12v. fan in reverse polarity that made it draw air with the factory installed fan. So far it has not really helped cause you still have to clean the radiator vents daily [cause they are so close together]. Grass is normal to clean out on any tractor, but dirt gets in between the fins like crazy. Auto rads are not tractor rads. What a disappointment this tractor has been. The local dealer has been good but is backed up with other work when I take it in, and I need it often. Positive note; it was great during the snow removal. We cleared lots of snow with it with no overheating at all!!!!!!"
