"This tractor was a trade in from a local farmer. It was well maintained and only needed a washer fluid reservoir. The dealer serviced the unit including cabin filters. So far I've used it approximately 50 hours. No issues to date. The five stars that I rated the unit are only based on 50 hours of usage. I would think that overall if any issues were present they would have presented themselves."
"I bought this unit brand new, it had 8 hours on it when we took it off the trailer, and most of that was idle time so that the diesel would not gel (not a New Holland problem at all, it was just cold). It was dark when we unloaded, backed off and pushed into a corn silage pile, and heard a big metal snapping sound. Come to find out, New Holland or the dealer forgot to put the catch pin on the right side of the loader mount, and the whole thing kicked to the left, bent the mounting bracket, and the whole 9 yards. We will see if they will do good for it, but in the meantime while we wait for people to look at it and what not, we are still down a loader tractor. The one thing I do feel is these units are way too light. Every other tractor I own is a John Deere and the rest will be too. "
"There are very serious build quality issues with this tractor. I ultimately ended up trading in my 2015 with only 3 months left on the warranty, because there were so many issues with it. I now have a 2017 T4.75 and I'm praying they worked out these issues, but unfortunately, I know of other owners who are having issues with their 2016 and 2017 T4 tractors. Leaks galore (< 200 hours), clutch engagement failures, shuttle shift failures, shift cable alignment issues, hydraulic washers not made to spec, overheating, and low hydraulic pressure to name only a few I've encountered. If you don't believe me, look how many of them are for sale on TractorData. There are more T4.75s for sale than any other New Holland model, and some are really cheap!!! Wonder why? I don't. "
"In 5 months I have put 300 hours on this tractor. I have a brush hogging business and pull a 12-inch flexwing cutter with it. I absolutely love the tractor. It had one issue where I would get a code and reduced power. This was happening in the middle of the summer when it was run hard in 100 degree plus temps. The dealer said I needed a fuel cooler. They sent a service truck to the field, installed the cooler, and I have had no more issues. All was covered by warranty and cost me nothing. I had it widened out, as well as the rear tires fluid filled. I cut on really steep embankments with no issue. I would buy another one tomorrow."
"This is the first new tractor I have bought, and I was looking forward to having a decent, trouble free tractor. Boy was I surprised. This is the open station model. First, the display went with only 5 hours on it. Then the seat sensor went, and so far we have replaced it 4 times, with no real fix for it as long as it gets wet. The display turns black and unreadable in direct sunlight, and guess what? There is no fix. The transmission will lock up, and then you have to unlock it. Again, there is no fix. The parking gear is a pain. Roll it forward or backward to get it into gear, and then fight with it to get it out. The controls for the loader stick, and are hard to use. The loader cycles really slow. It seems to lack power or is so choked out by the emissions add-ons that it isn't able to do what a tractor of this horsepower should be able to do. The only thing I can say that is good about it is the ride."
"It has had shifting issues with linkage pins as well as a bad oil leak on the transmission with a seal missing from the factory. It has labor intensive oil changes on the engine due to the filter location with front-end loader framing. It also has grounding issues with the 12-volt system. There is probably more to come."
"At this price point, I feel it is the best buy in the market. It is very reliable and the best cab in the industry. No one else comes even close. Step up and get all the options. They are very good value and worth more at purchase than a retrofit. "
"I bought this tractor after doing a bunch of homework and thinking this tractor would run forever. Boy was I wrong. I had a cable brake the first day I got the machine. The dealer had a new cable in the machine a couple days later. The next issue was the power steering had an o-ring that didn't seat right and had hydraulic oil going all over the ground at 16 hours. The list goes on with other things that have gone wrong. I would not recommending that anyone buy this product and look at something else. "
"The tractor is everything I expected and then some I never expected to drive a tractor all day long on the hills of West Virginia and feel as comfortable as I do "
"This tractor is a constant problem. First, there was a hydraulic leak with baling hay fluid pouring out every time the tailgate closed. The dealer fixed it. A couple months later, there was the same problem again. The power take-off would not shut off. That's happened twice. The dealer fixed it. The window about fell out. The dealer gave me parts to fix. Then out away from home it wouldn't start. The only good thing is we have a good dealer that has fixed the problems. Still wish I had my money back. I did not expect to buy a new tractor and put cardboard under it to make sure it's not leaking. I'm trading it as soon as the warranty is up! I never thought I would say this. New Holland has built a lemon. "
