Great Tractor for the Money

Model year: 2007 Date Purchased: 2012-03-20 Number of Hours: 250

"Found this tractor several states away and took a road trip to pick it up. Definitely worth the time and money to get it as it was several thousand less than an equivalent locally. After purchasing the tractor, I discovered it shares the same drive train with the NH Boomer 50 so my original concerns about parts availability were alleviated. The main difference outside the obvious styling and color is the front loader is built by a different manufacturer. I haven't done a side by side comparison but have heard the NH loader is superior. Aside from needing to add some ballast to the rear tires I have been very happy with the tractor for my needs around a small beef herd farm and have used it successfully for all normal farm chores. It has plenty of power and works well in both 2WD and 4WD. This is a hydro tractor, which my wife particularly likes and it operates the same as her lawnmower. She also feels very confident operating it which is very helpful if we’re using the manure spreader which I’m loading with a back-hoe. I wasn't sure about the R4 style tires on my muddy clay in the winter but haven’t had any issues so far. Everything feels well laid out and the seat is comfortable even on bumpy ground. I have no regrets buying this tractor which I anticipate will be our main work horse for years to come. I enjoy be able to use the tractor as opposed to work on the tractor which I spend a significant time on with my much older tractors (8N and AC D12)."
