"I borrowed this backhoe to build my house---waterline, septic field, digging out trees, etc. Bought it and kept it because it was so useful and still is. Have done many septic fields, trenching, back filling, etc. for friends and family."
"Other than the constant clutch problems, this isn't a bad little tractor. A little weak on power with the 4 cylinder gas engine, but that was to be expected. I had the clutch replaced when I bought the tractor and it didn't last a year. It really doesn't get worked hard either, I mostly use it for the front loader to move my firewood rounds from where I cut them to the log splitter. I think I will shop around for a different tractor mechanic this time. I never had clutch problems on either of my other 2 Masseys so I have to believe that the work may have been less than stellar. Other than all that, nice little turf tractor."
"Refurbished the tractor in 2004. Since then I have used it at my deer camp for planting 56 Acres of food plots. Old Yeller is a work horse. She just keeps on working. It is a diesel has a MF200 loader, wheel weights and tires filled with water. This tractor can do just about anything, it just keeps on working. I have the following implements: MF Backhoe, MF Dozer blade, MF grader box, harrow, all purpose plow, FordMac bush hog, Gill seeder, Holland square bailer and Fella disc cutter."
"They call it "The Bull"---enough said!"
"Bought the tractor to dig my waterline and install septic field on my then rural property 25 years ago. Have used the backhoe to dig many friends' septic fields and waterlines over the years. Now I use it mostly to carry wood and give the youngsters rides. The tractor was recently losing power at low rpm's, so I just had the Cessna injector pump and injectors rebuilt. Now it purrs at low rpm and is strong at high rpm's. The MF dealer, Java Farm Supply in N. Java, NY has been great. I guess the tractor is now set for the next 20 years."
