"So, this tractor is a complete lemon Do not buy one. With less than a 100 hours of use after we bought it it's been broke down 5 times. The air ride seat stopped working. It works when it wants to. Today the power take-off randomly shut off and the gauge cluster went black. Certified mechanics are hard to come by and don't know what they're doing. Parts are hard to get and take forever to get there. They usually have to be ordered and come from Germany. It's just all around bad tractor starts and runs good what everything else doesn't, so if you're wanting a tractor to just drive around and look at scenery this is the one you want. But most people don't buy a tractor just to drive around and look at people. We will be trying to return this tractor at our earliest convenience."
"Yea, so it is a bit dated (the model), but I had been using an 1135 Massey, so this was a big step up in price and features. I am the second owner and the first took good care of the tractor. The features are great and relatively reliable: economy PTO, reliable FWA, awesome 3-point control, durable transmission, and operator amenities. I have been using it for tillage. Pulling a 19 ft. disc, it goes 20% faster and uses 10% less fuel than the 1135. I had to add the cast rear inner wheel weights and put duals on it to get it to "behave" while pulling. Very satisfied with the tractor. Do NOT leave the emergency brake on! You will destroy it and it is a job to repair. :( The price range for all these tractors (6180, 6280, and 6480) is roughly similar, but the 6180 has fewer electronics, mechanical shift linkage, and far less plastic."
