"Mahindra makes an excellent product. This tractor has served me 10 years without any factory mechanical problems. It is extremely well built and performs flawlessly. I am extremely impressed with the performance it gives. I would highly recommend a Mahindra tractor/product to anyone that is in the market for this type equipment."
"I would buy another Mahindra again."
"Read many reviews before purchasing this tractor. It has met all of my expectations. Not many hours on it, but loving each moment on it."
"The 2 wheel drive is adequate for my needs but 4 wheel would be nice during the rains. The rears need to be filled just to function in a muddy environment. I have the front end loader which is in my mind an absolute requirement."
"I’m the 4th owner of this tractor. The gentlemen that bought it new passed away. The tractor was re-possessed and sold at auction at the local Mahindra dealer. The dealer bought the tractor and sold it to a mechanic that works at the dealership. I bought the tractor off him because it was too big for his needs. I tried to log on the Mahindra owners site but was not able to. This tractor had not had its first service and I had no owner’s manual. I contacted Mahindra and was told the unit had been taken off inventory and I could not log on the owners site. From what I understand all auction tractors are blackballed. I finally broke down and bought an owner’s manual, parts book, and service manual. This is the first time I ever had to buy an owner’s manual for anything. So far this is the only issue I have with the tractor. Hope this helps. "
"I have virtually overworked this little tractor and have had no problems with it until this week. The hydraulic control valve has gotten stuck. I have used it for clearing my land 60 acres of excess trees. I have mowed pasture and put of hay with it. I also bought it with a Bush Hog backhoe with it that paid for itself in the first year. I've put up hay and used the backhoe helping friends. I've tilled many gardens with it. For being a little tractor it has done a terrific amount of work."
"I purchased a 2005 Mahindra 3525 two wheel drive 35 HP tractor in May of 2010. It has a very large and quite powerful frontend loader. Larger that my brother in law's 50 HP Kubota. The tractor is considers a lager frame as opposed to a compact. It sits tall and is very heavy. However. due to the two wheel drive and large loader, it puts a lot of stress on the front tires. I have run them off the rim during sharp turns while carrying large loads. Otherwise, the tractor meets all my expectations and was a bargain price wise. I do not farm (row crop) professionally so the normal farm use is why I bought it. So far it has performed excellently. I have an electrical problem, but this was due to my own screw-up. I have grounded a wire some where and have not been able to locate where. Again, it was my fault. Parts are easy to get and relatively inexpensive. Mahindra is #1 in sales in the east, so parts are in abundance."
"Although I am a relatively new owner of this tractor I am not new to tractor ownership. The 3525 is a good 35 HP tractor. It does not have a lot of bells and whistles, but rather a plain-jane heavy metal tractor. I'm glad because the electrical system is not complex. Should it have additional electronics, it would likely never compare to a JD, Cat, IH etc... The technology behind hat component is lacking, IMO. However, as a strong metal monster, the Mahindra is a work-horse for sure and the sticker price is more reasonable. The front-end loader on mine is much larger and stronger than the one that came standard on my brother-in-law’s 50 HP Kubota. For the professional farmer I would recommend JD, but for the Joe-six-pack, like myself that bush-hogs the pasture, moves stuff around and tinkers with a one acre garden, Mahindra can’t be beat for the price and (so far) durability. Many of the “complaints” I have seen on the internet from Mahindra owners, I have discovered generally come from folks that either bought a lemon or more likely have tried to do too much with the tractor. John Deere and Kubota’s break too if you don’t change the oil on time or try to move mountains. Mahindra can stand it’s own as it relates to force, but every tractor has it’s limitations."
"The low rating on the local dealer may not apply now since they are no longer the local Mahindra dealer. Tulsa New Holland has taken over the area dealership and I'm looking forward to them if I ever need them - probably for normal maintenance items only. The only issue I have had was that the fuel tank inner coating came off and caused a lot of fuel delivery issues The dealer response was "Yeah that happens" probably why he lost the dealership. Once I cleared up that issue, it's an excellent replacement for my old ford 2n. "
"I have had nothing but good/excellent performance out of this tractor. It has the 250ML front loader and knowing what I know now, my first tractor would have had one (hard to see how I got by without one). I service it as per the operators manual and use Mahindra filters while under warranty and have continued to do so. I use it for light farming, landscaping and light general construction use around here. Great tractor. -Bob "
