"I love the performance of my Mahindra. It more than meets my needs. However, I recently damaged my clutch and it took Mahindra a month to supply the needed part. Overall, parts are hard to find and they are rather expensive."

"My Mahindra 5010 Cab Gear is a very good performing tractor. It more than meets my needs on my 60 acre farm. However, at 285 hours I got stuck in mud and as a result, I need a new clutch. My dealer has ordered the clutch part but can not get it from Mahindra as it is on national back order. The best tractor made is of no use if parts can not be obtained. I am told that it may take as long as two months for Mahindra to get the needed part from India. As much as I like the tractor itself, I caution potential buyers about considering this tractor if they can not afford down time. I definitely will not buy another Mahindra, nor any other Mahindra product."

"I have owned and used many tractors for well over 40 years. Many new tractors are going to a shorter wheel base (not good) and the Mahindra 5010 is extremely dangerous in regards to turning over attributes when using its standard ML156 loader/bucket and on "slightly" unlevel ground. We have not turned it over "yet," but cannot work efficiently due to its balancing issues. We have had the tractor on 3 wheels several times with the bucket not up very much and at very slow speeds. The only thing that saved it from turning over is we would immediately lower the bucket to the ground. The wheels are not reversible for widening the wheel span. I am sending a certified letter to Mahindra headquarters putting them on notice of this issue and stating they are liable for any damages that may (and most likely will) occur with the tractor I purchased. I would prefer returning the tractor and find another brand."

"Great tractor for the price I had priced all brands and they were the best for the money verse HP I also added a front end loader. I have John Deeres and Ford tractors also but not one this small with a cab, overall I have enjoyed it."

"The tractor has been great for us. We have used to plow, clip, clear, disc, lay plastic mulch, spray & other general work. Power is great controls pretty good. Wish it had draft and little cooler ac. It is a very smooth tractor. I have enjoyed it. The value is great as is our dealer. We cleared trash in old cutover first day out. I was very impressed. The gearing is pretty good, it will allow you to ease without riding the clutch. Everyone that had used it has been impressed. We operate a small family farm on a tight budget, the Mahindra has been a great fit. I would buy it again."
