"Good tractor. Only 5 repairs so far, 2 moderate (hydraulic manifold on tractor & hydraulic lifts on loader), and 3 minor (sheared mounting bolts for loader, sheared front steering stabilizer captive nut (shift knob broke off). Have used it to dig, grade, move hay, move trailers, bale hay, unload trucks, plow, & shred pastures. Had to add extra lights to work by, originals too low & behind the loader frame."
"Seems to be a fair tractor for the money. Having power steering problems I can't find the source of the problem but I will. "
"Tough, reliable tractor. I use it for general work, including earthmoving, hay cutting/baling, shredding, spraying, etc. Only two failures not caused by my own error: 1) one of the steering adjustment anchor points weld broke off & I had to reposition the steering to another point. 2) The shift lever broke off at the base of the threading for the knob. Other than that, my only regret is that I didn't buy the 4 wheel drive version."
"It's been an excellent tractor since the day it was new. It has done every job asked of it and then some. It will carry two round bales down the road in high gear all day long. I have used it to plow, disc, cut, rake, feed, pull stumps, push trees, shred, loader work, and every other task on a farm. The only parts replaced in over ten years of service are one starter, and two batteries. It is very cheap to operate and sips fuel. What else could you want? I would buy another Mahindra in a heartbeat!"
