"I spent a lot of time before purchasing this new tractor, but eventually decided on the Kubota for the value. I purchased the cab with no four wheel drive as I have never needed it on our 500 acre cattle and hay farm. I have had this tractor for seven years now and put around 100 hours a year on it. So far I am more than happy with the tractor and knock on wood have had no major issues with it. The only repair I have made is to replace the power steering line on the front axle. This is one thing Kubota could clearly improve as it is in an area that can pinch easily which is what happened on mine. The dealer said this is common on them. The cab is very comfortable and the AC will freeze you even on the hottest days during our Missouri summers if you do not turn it down to low. The tractor has plenty of power for what I do. I run a 9' disc mower and a New Holland 4x5 belt baler (2006) model. I have only pulled the tractor down once and that is when I forgot to kick the bale and started another one...ooops I am sure most of us who have been baling for 30+ years like me have done that! The tractor is very fuel efficient and maneuvers well when moving hay in and out of barns. The hydraulic filtration system on this tractor is great. I have only changed the hydraulic oil once at 500 hours and you could not tell it was used at all other than by smell. I would not hesitate to purchase another Kubota for the farm. If you are not looking for all the gadgets and electronics...this is the tractor for you!"

Pros: Great value for what you get. Cons: Cab is not large enough for two people but very comfortable for one adult...my 10 year old is now too big to ride comfortably in cab with me. Type of User: Homeowner 100+ Acres Location: USA MO I also considered buying:

"Bought the M8200 MFWD cab tractor new and it has exceeded all expectations after more than 300 hrs. It has excellent power, torque, AC and heating system. Very sturdy build and top shelf quality. The hydraulic shuttle shift works very nice when doing loader work. Have had zero issues with the tractor. Would buy another M8200. "
