"This tractor has been a pretty good tractor. I should have gotten more horsepower. It's great for bush hogging and fence work. It's not good for disking your garden, it spins too easily even with water in the tires, but for what we do as far as hay baling and raking it's great."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Great for doing hay. Cons: Spins too easily. Type of User: Homeowner 50-100 Acres Location: USA AL I also considered buying: John Deere 2555

"I have had my Kubota M4030su 2wd tractor since I bought it new in 1992. It is a 49 hp tractor with front end loader (Great Bend brand) and single hydraulic remotes. It is a great tractor as I've "never hand a wrench on" it except for routine maintenance I have pulled some extreme loads with it without even a whimper from the engine. I run a 25kW Winco PTO generator with it to power my house in electrical outages. It uses very little fuel as I square baled 600 bales of hay with it and used only 2 gallons of diesel. I starts quickly despite the cold temps. I couldn't recommend a better tractor than Kubota and if I need another tractor, believe me it will be a Kubota!"

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Ecomonical, almost maintiance free, & a pleasure to operate. Cons: None. Type of User: Homeowner 50-100 Acres Location: USA LA I also considered buying: Ford 5000
