"Excellent Tractor. I have an LA854 F/E loader with 42" forks and SC 25 stump grinder and a Land Pride 12' Bat Wing mower, which I purchased new last fall. This tractor does everything I ask it to do and has never had a problem. I bought the "L" because it was narrower than the "M" to fit through some tighter spots on my ranch. I am 100% satisfied with my purchases."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Great tractor, great power for my needs. Cons: None. Type of User: Homeowner 50-100 Acres Location: USA TX I also considered buying:

"I have had this tractor from new in 2011. I have no issues or problems in the 3 years I have had. I even bought a major topper which is a major 12000. Folds down from the sides. Kubota will drag it anywhere and at around 2200 rpm in high range turtle mode it loves it, probably could go quicker but would be bouncing around the cab. I harrow with it and roll, pull a trailer with it, it's great. I read a comment about not being able to use the hydro from the rear of the cab but you can---slide your arm down from the back and move with your hands. I can't fault it, as it's a compact tractor. If you want more cab room or more power or it to lift more then you need a bigger model. If I was to be critical, like had to pick a fault then all it would be is: the 12V power outlet at the side of your left side, I wish that was on the right, As that's where the loader leever is and I look over right shoulder a lot and my phone would be better on charge that side then the left but you know, I manage."

"The tractor is not 52 hp like the model number suggests but 54 hp turbo diesel. As far as tractors go in this class the L5240 is the Cadillac. It has cruise, tilt, H-M-L range, it has set throttle or gas pedal throttle and you simply push with the front of your foot to go forward and push with your heel to go seamlessly into reverse, it has a creeper and rabbit speed selector, it has adjustable response selector meaning you can select how sensitive you want the tractor to react when doing loader work from flat out abrupt to sissy soft. It has English metric selector, it has 4x2, 4x4 or diff lock, it has an anti stall feature that when used prevents engine from dying if for instance you try to back out of a pile of dirt with a full load without first lifting the dirt clear of the pile, the list goes on. Kubota tractors are much lighter than other tractors in their (nearly 1000 lbs lighter than a Case or ford of similar hp) which makes them friendly to haul and maneuver. I rated the build quality and reliability only 4 stars because the tractor has just 124 hrs on it and which is not enough for me to give a more accurate rating.."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
