"Grand cab is nice but the A/C. has never worked correctly since the day I got it and the Kubota dealer tells me it's working o.k. Well, if it's working o.k., then why does it get warm in the cab? I can't work in it on a 90 degree day because it's so hot. "
"Good strong tractor, cab with ac, backhoe, brush hog, finish mower 853 bucket loader with quick switch."
"Have had to repair the cylinders that roll the bucket 3 times. parts are $75 per cyl. a Case 580 cylinder kit is less than have that. solved the problem by putting on cylinders made in US. no problems for three years now."
"Can't believe my luck in picking my used Kubota tractor! I didn't know a lot about tractors when I purchased my used L5030 six years ago when we bought our farm. I just negotiated the best deal I could with the local dealer. With regular maintenance (oil changes, tire checks, greasing, etc.) it's never been down. I've worked it pretty hard, too. I don't know about newer Kubota models, but this one's a real winner when it comes to hard work with little to no down time."
"Have really enjoyed my L5030! Have moved hundreds of yards of rock building a house. Have a wench for pulling logs off hills where I live. Have a Ramsplitter 3pt log splitter unit running off my hydraulic system. Have a backhoe which has saved my bacon a number of times. Nothing has gone wrong with this unit. Still have the original battery which worked just fine two days ago. I do take good care of my Kubota and change all the fluids by schedule."
"I needed a tractor to do everything on our ranch, from drill post holes to plow, mow, move gravel and dirt, cut, rake, and bale hay, and carry heavy items. This tractor has never let me down. Low maintenance, great fuel economy, rugged, and dependable are the things I like about it the most. Buying a Kubota is the smartest move I made when buying a tractor for our ranch. "
"I replaced an L3030 with this L5030 to drive a larger bushhog. With attachments like a grapple, box-scraper, post-hole digger, arena-groomer, etc. I had no idea how useful this thing could be. My wife teases me about my "orange wheel barrow" because I take it anywhere I need to carry some tools. I got the R4 tires as a compromise for traction without tearing up my grass. We've yanked bushes and small trees, hauled mammoth rocks, even buried cable with a modified middle-buster for my ham radio antennas! Love this thing!"
"I bought the tractor new for keeping our gravel driveway in good condition, to run a tiller and to keep trails around and through our property clear. I can't really find any fault with the tractor. It has done everything I want it to do and has been reliable. I am about to pull the steering cylinder and replace a bad seal, but other than the blown seal the tractor has been problem free. I am pretty sure the seal damage was operator error."
"This tractor has been agreat purchase. The only problems I've had are axle seals. I've had to replace both sides but to be expected since im using a front end loader."
"Bought tractor new. Has been very reliable, except for air conditioner system. Have replaced fan motor twice. Not and chore. Presently have front leak---next project. I use it mainly for cutting and baling hay. Square bales for horse people."
