"The running gear is great but after 1 year the front Carlisle tires were cracked. After 4 years I had rust perforations in the fender and the paint where it wasn't peeled off was faded. I'm not sure if it is the dealership or not, but I have been waiting six months to see if Kubota is going to cover it or not. The tractor was kept inside for the first four years of its life. "
"Mostly happy after 5 years of service. We maintain @ 40 acres of 52 acre property including 1/2 mile of driveway with our Bota and it does most everything we need it do. Our local dealer has not been responsive to our needs or forthcoming in service, so I have learned to perform most maintain myself and use a JD Dealer nearby for the heavy lifting. Added the BH90 Backhoe which has been a very useful attachment. It is frame mounted (not 3pt) which I strongly recommend. "
"Decided it was time to replace my B9200 HST that I bought in 1988. Decision based on wanting to have more HP for moving logs, a bigger bucket for dirt/snow and finally---and most important---POWER STEERING. The 9200 was a beast to turn with a full bucket. Really appreciate the quick attach for switching between the bucket and forks. Mere minutes with no cursing and swearing. Glad I got this size tractor for all around work. Opted not to get the backhoe. Deciding that for that extra cost I could rent whatever I needed on the occasions I had to dig a hole."
"Just brought home my Kubota. Since I left the farm on Saskatchewan as a teenager I have wanted a tractor and 18 years later this Farmboy who grew up on John Deere equipment finally has one...an orange one! To the prospective buyer I recommend taking your time to evaluate everything. Don't be in a hurry. I spent 2 months researching all options from models to choose from (specs, capacities, reputation), attachment options/costs, reliability, utility for my situation, finance vs. cash deals, dealer capabilities/reputation/incentives, and summarized all in a spreadsheet to compare. If you visit a dealer take a note pad and document the discussions...especially when it comes to the options you are looking for. If they can email you this info it documents the deal and will result in less chance of mistakes happening and when they do they are easily corrected when you produce the paper. This came in handy when I viewed my tractor the first time and the HD bucket was not ton the unit. Let me tell you when the sales people caught a glimpse of what I was up to they knew they would have to play it strait. It also confirmed I was going to spend some money and this is where the incentives kicked in. Patience is key... Do you homework and you won't regret the choice you make. So far this Kubota has met every expectation. It is early and I only spent a few hours in it but it is clearly a well built and carefully scrutinized product as they build them. Let's hope it holds up to the reputation and workload I plan for it. The HST is awesome and I recommend to anyone doing lots of FEL work. I haven't played with many HST modes other than the auto idle and manual mode and it works great. One hand on the steering wheel spinner, one on the loader stick and the foot pedal does all the forward and reverse. I used to plow all my snow with a quad. After a day with this set up I'm wondering why I waited so long to buy a tractor and I actually look forward to next winter. I look forward to posting more info when the opportunity arises."
"A fine tractor but a little top heavy 1."
"Loader interferes with headlights. Unless the bucket is scraping the ground, the stock headlights are blocked. Need after market lights on ROPS to get late jobs done."
"Perfect tractor for the work I'm doing. Maintaining 1/2 mile gravel roadway, general landscaping, Gardening (plowing/tilling), and general maintenance of field/pasture area. The enclosed cab is great - I get to work in a temperature controlled, dust-free, environment. Plenty of power and control. I should have switched to this class of machine a long time ago!"
"Wonderful machine. Plenty of power on the FEL and BH. Easy to maneuver even in tight quarters. The enclosed cab and lights all around lets me work in comfort year 'round, day-n-night. 'Tis a pleasure to operate."
