"I acquired this tractor from a local family settling and estate. I also have a 1983 1210 Ford 4x4 hydro-stat. The L275 is gear driven which is okay by me. I do some air strip mowing and the long runs are better suited to gear drive. The L275 has a Kubota factory installed L1730 front end loader. Very handy. I was looking to install a loader on the 1210 but realized the money would be better spent going towards a more powerful tractor with a FEL already installed. It has proven to be a wise decision. The L275 was not starting well when I went to look at it. I asked the family if I could clean the battery cables and they agreed. After the cleaning it cranked over with authority and started well. Problem solved so I gave them the asking price. Everyone smiled."
"Local tractor mechanic told me Kubota was the must durable and highest quality to seek. I took him at his word, and he was right. I bought L275 and later found G5200H diesel lawnmower. Love both of them; both run like a fine Swiss watch."
"I like the size of it."
"Bought used tractor with 1763 hrs in 2004. It had been used for orchard work in Kelowna, BC and always service by the Kubota dealer. Ratings based on this is an old tractor lacking many modern features. Implements: 5' finishing mower, 4' brush mower, 6' blade, front end loader with 5' bucket. Used in rough terrain for brush clearing, trail building/maintenance, driveway maintenance and firewood cutting. Tractor is tough and stable (wheels set at widest width)--great for clearing brush and maintaining steep paths. Used in winter for clearing snow (normally several 1' dumps of heavy wet snow) from a fairly steep 700' driveway. Very satisfied with this tough little tractor but hope to eventually upgrade to a modern 30-35 HP HST tractor (likely Kubota or Kioti)."
"I just got my first real tractor Saturday!! I have driven plenty in the past and have done a lot of plowing, just with bigger tractors. Mine is a creampuff that has sat in a shed un-used most of its life. With only a little over 600 hours it has a L O N G life ahead of it and will still be going strong for my kids. I have found nothing bad printed about this tractor and it seems to be rock solid. I will post more as I use it and become more familiar with its quirks, since it seems all tractors have their own personality."
