Well it's been 5 years now since new purchase and the "Baby Bota'" is still going strong. The BX has never had to go back to the dealer for any problems at all! I did bust a lower radiator hose and tail light lenses but repaired myself.
The only problems I have had are:
* MMM lift linkage would not lock in Top position - Found a bolt had vibrated off where linkage mounts to frame - easy fix.
* Rear axle seal by left wheel came out and lost almost all hyd. fluid. Believe debris (I was doing heavy brush cutting) got jammed against it and popped it out. Luckily I noticed it before any other damage. Managed to just pound the seal back in place and coated with ATV. 100 hrs ago and still working fine with no leaks.
* Seat has a couple rips on edges and foam is showing
* Removed floor mat and noticed minor rust (never liked that design anyway) so removed mat and coated with spray on truck bedliner - looks and works fine now.
Believe me I have really worked this little tractor and it does everything (almost) that I have thrown at it. Really surprised me at how well it has held up!
It is a small tractor and if you don't have the backhoe or other attachment on the back you will not have very much traction. Other than that this little thing can brush cut, mow, dig holes, grade, chip (Wallenstein BX42) and knock down small trees and bushes (Pirannah Toothbar), tow and haul loads that would amaze you.
Plus, since it's small, it takes up little space in the barn and can get in tight spaces that the big boy's can't. It get's my 2 thumbs up!
