"I owned a BX2200 for 5 years. It was a very good tractor. My property has little flat areas. Ninty percent is either up a slope or down. My B3030 HSDC is an excellent tractor with good power. My neighbors in a 5-mile radius of my home all own John Deeres. Everyone states John Deere is a great tractor. I say John Deere does not even produce their own engine anymore."
"I like this tractor very much. Living up here in the north of North Dakota, it is nice to have a tractor you can depend on. So far, it has not let me down. Yes, I agree it has a loud cab. I am going to put sound insulation in it. I heard that this year’s New Holland tractors are also loud. They say it’s the hydrostatic. The heating and cooling is great. I guess a person can't get everything they want. I can't get that on my vehicles either. I have industry tires on mine. I use it for mowing and blowing snow. I never had to chain it up like my Kubota that I had to do so much that I bought a Kubota zero turn last year. "
"This is my first tractor and overall I am satisfied. The front-end loader exceeds my expectation and I love the air conditioning in the Texas heat. Dealer support leaves a lot to be desired. It had been in shop for over 3 weeks because an OPC fuse keeps blowing and service manager keeps replacing parts that most likely did not need replacing. It was over $1,000 to do basic maintenance and replace the power take-off switch, HST switch and assembly control seems very high to me. It eventually turned out to be the HST pedal safety switch. The mid mount mower is more powerful than my Ferris ZTR IS2000, but obviously not as mobile. Since this is my second year of ownership I can only hope the reliability and dealer support is better. The welds and overall quality control appear better than some cheaper brands and it is easy to park in a smaller garage."
"I have two B3030hsdf tractors. One has a RC72B30 mid mount mower and 1,475 hours on it. The other has a LA403 loader and RC73B30 mower. Both are used to run a Woods HC54 bush hog. Both are bullet proof AAAA+ in quality, performance and dependability. Easy to maintain."
"I have a Kubota B3030 with front end loader and bush hog. Not really had any problems 'till now. Been very happy with it. but now I can't get the selector for the PTO to move to rear or middle, plus lever won't go forward to engage PTO? "
"Almost 800 hours in this girl and the only failures were hoses and a battery after 700 hours. Mine was a TLB version and I have pushed every limit. This thing has with no failures at all. This by far was a great tractor. I changed all the fluids in 1/2 the time with the full synthetic fluid and she never let me down. I am only selling her because I need a bigger machine. I made a ton of cash with her due to her size and weight. "
"Somewhat satisfied with tractor."
"I love this little guy. I run a 72 inch tiller, 72-inch snow-blower (rear), Woodmaxx 8H chipper, and a 8 foot boom on the 3pt hitch. Except for the tippyness of the tractor, it has been a really nice reliable piece of equipment. I only wish that it was more stable on rough ground as I need to use it in my 25 acre woodlot. The snow blower is the essential tool as I live on the end of a 2500 foot private road that I have to perform snow removal on. Mine has the full cab with heat and A/C. "
"One demonstration of my very positive experience with Kubota is that new or used, my next tractor will also be a Kubota. I even bought Kubota stock. I purchased the B3030 with a 60" belly mower, B75 backhoe, FEL, and an ATI quick-attach adapter for Bobcat attachments. The B75 backhoe is the only disappointment of the package, but most of my problems are likely due to a missing bump stump not installed by the dealer in Winchester, VA. Problems of over-extension led to multiple hose, valve, and hydraulics replacements until I noticed another B75 with the rubber piece missing from mine. I probably spent almost $2,000 on parts and labor, but the dealer covered the labor on the last repair. Since that discovery, no problems (although I also installed longer hoses that the originals). I've heard the new L 60 series won't have the mid-mount PTO and belly mower capability and that's too bad. So I recently searched for a new L3940, the largest for which a belly mower was available and the only one that allows the belly mower with R4 tires---none available new within 1000 miles. The reason for the L3940 instead of another B3030 is simply that the B3030 does not weigh enough to keep me out of trouble with the front end loader. The loader is strong enough to pull the liquid-filled rear wheels off the ground if I'm not paying full attention. We also now have a Bobcat T190, and it makes it feasible to buy a second B3030, knowing that it's there for the really heavy lifting. The only other problem is that my wife genuinely loves to mow with it. She is an international agriculture executive and mowing with the B3030 is one of her favorite things. You can cover a lot of ground safely in the middle gear, and with the locking differential and 4x4 with R4 tires you can quickly recover severely overgrown areas. I noticed a leak from the FEL valve last weekend, but first impression is that whatever the problem, it's always fixable. The FEL doesn't always behave well in re-installing it on the tractor. The B3030 is very flexible in the variety of settings and attachments you might utilize, but the belly mower is not easy to maneuver in and out from under the tractor, and the pins that hold the mower up in the suspended position can be a pain. Dealing with the mower (and occasionally the FEL problem mentioned above) is not something you'd want a 60-70 year old to deal with. "
"The Kubota 3030 has been real reliable. Haven't had to take it back to dealer other than 50 hr. service."
