"Sorry, there is not a MX4800DT - 4WD in drop down menu, so I’m going as close as I can. I looked at HST, but decided on gear due to the price. It is a great tractor so far. It is tier 4, but has not entered Regen yet at 20 hours. I installed a quick hitch from Woods and that I hope is helpful. I've done lots of mowing on my property and some front-end loader work. The tractor has done all that I've asked. Most of the mowing has been shoulder high weeds and set the RPM at 540 speed (2700) and gear at 2/Low and let it creep. There is no bogging or stalling. This was my first tractor purchase and although I looked at every color, I am very pleased that I went with Kubota. "
"I am happy with the tractor. It does everything I need it to do. The private road to my house is gravel. I contribute to snow clearing, grading and road maintenance. I harvest logs [lumber] from the woodlot. Load logs [firewood] into my 5x10 ft dumping trailer and transport it home [45 minute drive by tractor]. It is generally a handy thing to have around. I'v got the FEL, rear blade, rear scarifier, Norse 290 winch, forks [front], work platform [front]."
"Good value, reliable, this is my third Kubota product, had good luck with them all."
"So, the boy is out of college and I can finally afford to replace my 1956 Ford 800. I looked for more than a year at everything and I am very happy with the Kubota MX4700. I got the quick de-tatch front end loader and the back-hoe with 4WD and industrial tires. It's all solid."
"All in all, I am very pleased and satisfied with the tractor. Kubota quality and engineering is top notch. I own 2 other Kubota products, a B7100 I've had for almost 20 years, and an RTV. Have had very good luck with all my Kubotas."
"I usually buy used equipment, but this was such a deal new ($13,400) that I couldn't pass it up. I did have to drive 300 miles to pick it up. I had the dealer set this up for row crop, with tall skinny tires (13.6x28). Like my other Kubotas, it's utterly dependable so far. I had considered a Massey Ferguson 2615, but couldn't come close on the price. I also looked at some Mahindras; they seemed to be crudely built. The price didn't include any front weights, which clearly are necessary; I had to 'borrow' some off another tractor. The independent PTO seems to be a plus over a live PTO; if you've ever had to replace a two-stage clutch in a Kubota you'll know what I mean. "
"Has great power, needs parking brake light, seams like it will be a great dirt machine but time will tell with just 5 hrs on the clock. Has cat 2 lift arms but comes with bushings for cat 1 use."
"Tractor is still new. Only have 10 hours on it. So far so good. It works well for pushing up brush piles. I've had to pull a couple of trucks out that got stuck in the mud. That's about it so far. I do like everything about the tractor so far. I think I made the right choice for my needs."
"This rating would be 5 stars across the board but for a couple of minor issues that cropped up in the first 100 hours. This tractor has been a pleasure; Powerful enough for all ice asked of it, dependable (one kill switch bent by debris is only flaw so far - lil' switches should be better shielded/tougher) We debated whether to get HST. We did and I'm glad we chose to do so. It helps that our dealer is absolutely top notch!"
"I own a 18ac horse farm that 15 of that is overgrown with hardwoods, stumps, brush all over. Very capable tractor, mine is outfitted with R4tires,loaded, front and rear remotes, Fel, 4wd.I can push over just about most brush and small trees(6" or less) with ease. Lifts 6ft+ hay bales with no effort, good traction but needs weight in the rear on wet days. Although it is missing some creature comforts of the other models, you sacrifice some "cushiness" for more grunt and a wider beefier tractor. The operator station is laid out well, with everything within easy reach.Wide foot deck is easy on the feet for long periods of time operating. One reviewer commented on his steering issues, well being in SC as well, with the clay mud we have I would not dream of a front loader tractor of any kind with 2wd and trying to do cleanup work. I for one am extremely happy with my purchase and have begun talking my Father in law out of his John Deere and going Kubota."
