Don't Waste Your Money On A Kioti Tractor.

"I have had nothing but problems with this tractor. I have had to replace the ignition switch and the front 4-wheel drive components twice. I also had to upgrade to another steering mechanism as the original one had no fluid return lines. The dealer I purchased it from went out of business because he said they would not stand behind their product. I only have 6 acres which I only use the tractor to mostly scrape my gravel road. One of the hydraulic lines burst on the front end loader. I replaced it , but the loader doesn't preform as it did and added fluid. I have been in contact with a factory rep who informed me that they would do nothing to help me. This tractor still looks like new and is stored in a climate controlled enclosed garage. The first problems started when it only had 45 hours on it. This tractor has been used very lightly. Never any hard work. I also own a 1962 Massey Ferguson tractor that I use regularly to mow grass and scrape the path now. Never any problems with it. Don't waste your money. Pay a little bit more and get a dependable tractor that the factory will stand behind. "

"The tractor weighs more then all others in its class. It has thick steel, is better reinforced, and I like the way everything is laid out. "

Pros: Higher lift capacity, better vaue, backhoe excellent, stronger structs, ease of servicing Cons: The used market on this tractor is pretty rough but this is a tractor that should last 30-50 years with basic maintenance Type of User: Homeowner 10-50 Acres Location: USA TX I also considered buying: John Deere 5055E, Kubota M5040

Be Warned About Kioti

"You can have the best product in the world and the best dealer, but when the mother company in Korea does not respect their clients and not even answering emails for spare parts, you cannot provide service. We have imported tractors, paid and sold the tractors through our dealer network but now it is impossible to get any spare parts out of Kioti. The spare parts aren't available. We are a company which sells 450 tractors per year so we should know what the service and spare part supply should be like. Be warned: if your tractor breaks, you will struggle to get the parts as the mother company in South Korea do not care about their customers. We have send them requests and heard nothing from them. This is our experience and I have read that there are other people that share the same view!"

"For the most part I really enjoy this tractor. Love the size and horsepower. What affected the rating was an injector pump failure, ignition switch failure and a bucket that doesn't come back far enough. I may have had a different opinion had the injector pump been covered by the warranty though. Will not buy another one because of it as well."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Strong value. Cons: Reliability and manufacture support. Type of User: Homeowner 100+ Acres Location: USA NY I also considered buying: John Deere 5105, Kubota L5040

"I own 10 acres of sloping rough property and I needed a tractor that could do the work. After reviewing the features and price and features of the blue, green, and other orange tractors, I couldn't beat the Kioti. It was thousands cheaper, with no sacrifice in quality. The tractor has stood up to my heavy use and even abuse occasionally. I have a Kioti front end loader, and I think that needs improvement. The bucket cylinders are weak, high maintenance, and the leverage ratio on the tilt could stand improving. There was an initial problem with the front axle ring and pinion, but the dealer worked with me to get me the parts under warranty. All in all, I am thoroughly pleased with this tractor and highly recommend it to anyone. "

"Bought it used in 2010. I need a tractor with a cab for snow removal as my driveway is 1/2 a kilometer long. So far it has been excellent. Only problem I encountered was chains would not fit on the rear as there is not enough cab clearance. I solved this by studding the tires."

Pros: Shuttle transmission. Heat, A/C, stereo. Cons: Filters are expensive. Type of User: Homeowner 10-50 Acres Location: CND OT I also considered buying:

Model year: 2007 Date Purchased: 2007-05-22 Number of Hours: 245

"i can't say to much bad about this tractor, i mowed brush and did general farming with it with no problems at all. i cleaned ponds, brush hogged, built roads and discing. the tractor is very well made, heavy duty everything. flat deck, roomy operator station, quiet compared to others I've used, starts in any temperature, the 551 loader is well built and very strong. the bucket could be a little deeper and the seat gets hard after a few hours of work, but other than that i highly recommend this tractor."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: high quality, strong engine, ease of controls, fun to use. Cons: uncomfortable seat, bucket could be deeper. Type of User: Homeowner 50-100 Acres Location: USA WV I also considered buying: New Holland TC55
