"Machine was purchased from an acquaintance and was lightly used. Deck is the 42C. The seat had de-laminated from the base so had to replace that ($125). Also discovered that the 15 hp Kohler will not re-start after being warmed up and shut off. Not sure if it's the coil (ignition module) or vapor lock. Will diagnose next time I mow, but I have a new coil and some other parts bought just in case. Still a much better machine than the previous mowers I bought from big box stores (MTD)."

"I purchased this used from an older gentleman at a moving sale. He had a nicely manicured lawn in a subdivision and was moving to a condo closer to his daughter. It was at the end of the mowing season and he was asking $900. Was not a scratch on it and it had wax residue around the decals. I bought it for $700 cash. Had to wait all winter long before I could actually cut grass, and I was impressed. "
