"The 1st year I had it, this little tractor/mower was a great help taking care of about 2.5 acres of 'sorta lawn' on our 10 acre river/wetlands home and hobby farm. The first winter it cleared our 1/4 mile drive really well, but I nearly froze from the blow back of snow while snowblowing. I decided to put a cab on it. Bought scrap parts from 3 different cabs, put this kind of custom cab together and now I actually enjoy doing our roadway. After 5 minutes, I have to unlayer...just from the residual heat from the engine. It's comfortable in minus 0 weather and ALWAYS runs! "

"Bought this used 5 years ago. Runs great. Easy to remove the mower deck and hook up tiller. The Kawasaki 17hp liquid cooled engine has good power when you rev it. Tiller is about 30" works good, but will try to push the tractor forward if you hit hard soil or roots due to forward rotation of the tines. Other than rust under the battery tray and having to replace a coolant hose it has been perfect. My parents bought, used, & killed 2 cheap riding mowers since I bought this 21 year old John Deere that is still mowing both our lawns! "

"Bought this used when I bought my home. As a large garden tractor/lawn mower it has exceeded my expectations. 50" deck, 42" single stage snow thrower, tire cahins & weights. We get snow by the foot here, and it always clears the way, mower cuts smooth and even. Always starts. Kawasaki liquid cooled 18 HP v-twin is a great power plant. I have even used it to skid logs out of the woods at our camp."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Great power, very reliable. Cons: Snowblower is hard on belts, wish it had a 3 point. Type of User: Homeowner 10-50 Acres Location: USA NY I also considered buying: John Deere 790, John Deere 3005
