"The transmission on this tractor has problems. My PTO clutch when out at app 900 hours and many dollars I had it repaired. Interestingly enough the new clutch was different that the old one. Now at 1300 hours when you put the tractor in park the tractor rolls very dangerous. I have called or talked to my dealer at least 3 times and still no repair estimate. "

"I bought this tractor new with a 542 loader. I already had an MX8 rotary mower. The tractor has the power reverser transmission which comes in handy when mowing. Within the first six months the tractor had a coolant leak, a fuel leak, and a refrigerant leak from the AC. The dealer addressed the refrigerant leak on site, but took the tractor to his shop for the coolant leak and the fuel leak. That took care of the fuel leak, but the coolant leak persisted. They took it in again and replaced the hoses. It still leaked when they brought it back. They took it back and a mechanic found a factory fix that required adding another head gasket. That fixed the problem. All of the above was under warranty and I scheduled things so that I didn't need the tractor while they worked on it. Now three years later, the AC cannot keep up with ninety degree days. "

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Power Reverser, MFWD, economy mode PTO. Cons: Oil filter replacement requires removing parts of the shielding. Type of User: Homeowner 100+ Acres Location: USA OH I also considered buying:

"This is a cab type tractor and it has had several leaks. First the air conditioner lost all refrigerant, it had a coolant leak, and leakage around the turbocharger. They fixed the AC on site, and the mechanic said the nuts were not tight. They transported it to address the other leaks. Upon return the coolant leak was still there. They took it back and put on new hoses, and brought it back. It still leaked. A mechanic came on site and inspected it with lights and mirror and said it looked like a leak from the head. He checked the company data on the tractor and it is a known problem. The fix is to use two gaskets with a thin copper piece between them. They have it in the shop now. "

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Good power, easy 4wd options, comfortable. Cons: Lever to lift the 3-pt is behind the seating position on the right side. The problem being that with the cab, this control is above elbow level and using it is not ideal. Type of User: Homeowner 100+ Acres Location: USA OH I also considered buying:
