"Never had any problems until this summer. Good tractor."
"Low use; good performance; reliability well above average; one electrical ground problem, one problem with weak break return springs. Good power and very reliable otherwise. Mostly used for pushing, moving brush, dirt, etc. "
"Excellent tractor with numerous dealerships in the area to help me if needed. No problems to report, would recommend this tractor to anyone"
"Perfect tractor. I traded up from a John Deere 2010. Really love this tractor as everyone knows John Deere makes a good hitch system. A lot easier than my Massey Ferguson. "
"We bought a retirement home that clearly called for a tractor. This unit has done pretty much all I have asked of it. We used it pretty intensely in the first 2 years. It did the heavy stuff and a DR Field & Brush mower did the lighter stuff. Since then we have mostly only used it to bush hog 18-20 acres twice a year; we recently sold off harrow, plow, strapped blade, etc. since we no longer need or use them. I am currently having a bush hog problem that is not caused by the tractor. The only bad thing about the tractor is that the injection pump failed right after the warranty expired. Even a rebuilt pump was expensive, but it has worked fine ever since. Why choose a John Deere? It came from the only tractor dealer nearby."
"I have had no major problems with mu JD 5310 unless you count the problems I had due to a lazy dealer. The rims rusted through because the dealer did not see fit to be bothered with installing inner tubes to contain the calcium. I just paid $3000 to install new rims, beet juice and inner tubes It is used for utility work, mowing, brush clearing, fertilizing, spraying, food plot planting, disking, moving loose materials and pulling a no till drill."
"Did not get it in yet."
