"Truly is a workhorse. We've had this tractor for over 12 years and it has never let us down. We primary use it for small mowing jobs/trail maintenance with a little ground work for food plots. "
"Tough tractor. Has taken very hard use in the Ouachita mountains. I hesitated to buy this as my first tractor. It seemed too big. Now I realize that this four wheel drive model represents possibly the best money I ever spent for a "tool". The 541loader stays attached; I use the forks as much or more than the bucket. Also have a Wood's box scraper with hydraulic rippers, a nice feature."
"I bought this at a real good price w/a bucket and a bush hog and it only had 400 hours on it. The vet that owned it wanted an enclosed cab with a/c. Go figure 400 hours in 6 years. It's not a bad little tractor and I haven't had too many issues with it. The temp gauge quit in the cluster and $400.00 for that resulted in some redneck engineering and a $20.00 gauge to take care of that. The fuel system is a pain and if it ever vapor locks you will have a little fun resolving that since it is a gravity flow pump. I have a small hydraulic problem in that once every blue moon the bucket will lock up in the down position and you have to jockey with the controls for a little while. There might be a butterfly valve in the controls that might be sticking occasionally but the dealer can't find it. Overall, I think I made a good purchase."
"Purchased this tractor new and have no regret at all, have been very pleased with the performance and reliability of this unit. "
"Real good machine overall. For what I use it for which is light work like brush hogging and garden plowing/ tilling, small hay rake. And medium duty loader work to include round bales. I have a 84” King Kutter tiller and it will handle it no problem. It’s great because it is small enough to get into tight spots and turns on a dime with brake assist. (It’s 2WD) It is large enough to be stable and with a decent load on the back but needs an extra hundred pounds or so in the bucket if your going to take it down the road. Decent Road gear speed (sync shuttle trans) C-3 will top out at 20MPH or so. And has a super low A-1 gear; great for the rotary tiller A few draw backs, no rear outlets all are central for loader, had to replace entire rubber fuel lines for not being compatible with bio fuel (leaked from one end to the other). Way too light in the rear you will need weights for any garden plowing or loader work and they are expensive. You could use a heavy box blade or blast box for rear ballast. The 521 loader will pick up more than the rear end will ballast even with a big boy like me (about 290) Rear wheels do not easily adjust and it really needs a 7 or 8 foot implement to take out tire tracks you will need proper front ballast without a loader. If loader equipped the weight rack and loader cannot coexist at the same time. "
"Ownership of this unit has been a positive experience, no regrets what so ever on the purchase."
