"For its size, a so-called 20 horsepower, you would think it was too small. with the loader and backhoe, I can do it all! Move rocks the size of the tractor! Small enough to get in and out without making a mess."

"This is a well manufactured machine. I have had very few issues. The mid mower runs great, and boy can the plow move the snow, even after 3,000 hours. It has good power. "

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Great for the size Cons: Wish you could find new John Deere attachments for it still Type of User: Homeowner 10-50 Acres Location: USA PA I also considered buying:

"I used this tractor with a rear blade, belly mower, loader, box scraper and 60-inch bush hog (yes, 60-inch) for 24 years on 17 acres in Virginia. I moved tons of snow off a 1/3 mi driveway (with chains), moved many loads of firewood, bush hogged the horse pasture and maintained the driveway with the box scraper. I sold it to my great regret when the lift arms would often not go down (even with the box scraper) and the local dealer said he had no idea what was wrong and did not have a mechanic who could fix it! Great little machine."

"I love this tractor. It is front wheel assist and has the 70A loader. I bought a larger 66 horsepower John Deere 4720 and my plan was to sell this; however, I can't bring myself to part with it. The only downfall I have found is that the hydraulic pressure is limited to 2,000 psi. I wish it went to 2,500 to get some additional lift from the loader. "

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Very capable for the size and price, reliable, two range hydrostatic transmission is flawless Cons: Lower hydraulic pressure limits loader lift, but still very capable Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: USA TX I also considered buying:

"This is the first tractor that I've ever owned and I've only had it a month, but I am totally impressed, so far. Build quality seems excellent. It seems like a really heavy-duty tractor for only a 20 hp. It starts great and runs really well. The loader is a JD 70 and the rear blade is a 60" King Kutter. I added front and rear chains to it, so even with turf ties, it gets around great in the snow. I also added hangers on the ROPS for a chain and rope and put U-bolts through the rear fenders to protect the hazard lights."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Heavy duty, starts great, runs great, tight turning radius. Cons: High center of gravity. Type of User: Homeowner 10-50 Acres Location: USA WI I also considered buying: Ford 1210, Cub Cadet Yanmar SC2450

"I am the original owner and have worked this machine harder than 90% of the machines out there! I have been religious on changing the fluids at 250 hrs. for hydraulics and every 50 hrs. for the oil. It was great to find a Rotella oil in 10-30. I have had to do very minor repairs considering what this work horse has done BUT worth every penny! Better than a Timex! Keeps on Dieseling!"

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: All. Cons: None that to me are worth mentioning. Personal more than machine. Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: USA NH I also considered buying:

"Did I really need a tractor when I bought it? No. But I have been able to do so many things with it since I bought it, that I do not want to be without one. I have cleared snow, which we only get once every 3-4 years, removed hurricane debris, cleared land, dug water lines (900ft), made yard flower beds, dug post holes. I want to help volunteer to help keep our new sidewalk through our village cleared and maintain the roadway better than the state does. So I am looking for a side frail cutter and TractorByNet sent me to Orsi 30 cut that fits my need perfect, but cost is so high (more than I paid for my tractor and accessories) that I am trying to get a grant to help with the purchase. "I bought this tractor as I had a limited budget and wanted hydraulic shift. Very pleased with it although its getting a bit long in the tooth and now I want a new John Deere. Only problem has been electrics that some dipstick did some crap DIY work on. Luckily the manual I got on line is very detailed so I rewired the important things using John Deere parts not crap auto parts. Although I am in UK i source parts from Canada and USA and they are much better prices. If you haven't got too much work to do buy a used 755. But beware after a while you will want a new one."

"Hi, I've had my JD 755 for 25 years and have found it to be be an excellent machine. I've only had 2 problems in the 25 years. First was a hard hydraulic line leak and second a fuel delivery problem. I was able to get clues on the fuel problem here on the forums. They lead me to finding a corrosion problem on a fuse. It was very helpful for the fix. The 755 has been a great machine and TractorByNet a great source of information."
