"I've had this little blue tractor for 18 years. It digs with plenty of power from the hoe and the loader. It's my wheelbarrow and trencher. I have run water lines and underground electric. The hoe gets me below the frost line here in Pennsylvania. All of my neighbors ask to borrow it now and then. It is a tough, well-built unit. If your looking for a terrific tractor look no further. "Tractor has bucket, belly mower, 5 foot tiller and blade. I really don't know how I would survive without this tractor. It is by far something you wouldn't want for a farm but for a home owner with a few acres it is great."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Power for a small unit. Cons: Taking bucket on and off could be easier. Type of User: Homeowner 1-10 Acres Location: USA VA I also considered buying:

"I was looking for a 25hp compact to replace my MF 135 farm tractor when I stumbled on this little guy at an estate sale & jumped on it due to low hours and pristine condition. With only 14 horses at the PTO I was concerned, but I should not have been. With 4x4 HST I could work circles around the MF with the specific chores I tasked it with. Only twice did I need to take it out of service when a front bearing failed and the injectors needed service. I give the dealer(s) a low score because they could not provide me with AG wheels for less then half what I paid for the tractor."

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Reliable and capable beyond it's size. Cons: Cannot get AG wheels. No cup holder. Type of User: Homeowner 10-50 Acres Location: USA NY I also considered buying:

"I keep looking at the green and orange tractors, but the old blue ones are the best. This one could use an intermediate gear for the hydro, since that is the speed range it is most used at. This one has turf tires - real wide, soft turf tires, not those phony ag. tires with automobile tread that come on Kubota. I use a 4' finish mower in the summer and a 64" snow blower (and 4 chains) in the winter, as well as a spray rig and a grader blade. Instead of putting in remote hydraulics (for a lot of $), I used 12v actuators for the height and angle of the snowblower chute, and the wheels on the grader blade. They work great, much better than hydraulics. The spray rig has an electric pump too. "

REVIEWER'S ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pros: Only 4' wide, very nimble, steering brakes (which you can't get on a JD). Different lock. Cons: Could use an intermediate speed range. Type of User: Homeowner 10-50 Acres Location: USA VT I also considered buying:

"I bought this tractor for several large landscaping projects. It has performed flawlessly. It is equipped with the Loader and backhoe, both are easily installed and removed. This was a great tractor series from Ford."
