"I bought this little 4WD tractor with about 400 hours on it. Had it for about 6 yrs. and let a guy talk me out of it, 2 years later I bought it back from him; I missed it so much. This dude had the front-end loader a tiller and brush hog, with the 4WD that dude can do a lot more work than you would ever believe, never had a break down in 3000 hrs., just maintenance, 1 loader hose, my fault 2 loader seals. tough well made tractors."
"I bought this 1200 used with 50 hrs on it from a guy that restores and sells tractors. He had 3 Kubotas and this 1980 ford 1200. This thing looked like a tank compared to the Kubotas and I had already owned a Kubota and loved it. I bought the Ford and added a Yanmar 3 pt backhoe and use it for everything. Its been really reliable and takes a beating. Replaced a few hoses and pistons seals over the years and that is it. And maybe a battery or two. Love my little tank. They just don't make them like this anymore!"
"This is a fantastic little tractor.I have wanted one since I graduated from HS 30 years ago.It is being used for tilling and mowing on my Christmas tree farm and vegetable farm.I have decided that I will keep this tractor for the remainder of my life and pass it on to family.I also like to show it at local tractor shows. For small farm work with implements I would not hesitate to recommend any of the compact Ford tractors."
"It had 100 hours on it when I purchased it from a Ford dealer in Tomaqua PA in 1982. I was an excavating contractor using it to pull a landscape box and a 6'rake along with a PTO seeder. On the side plowing gardens and tiller, it still amazes me how little fuel it uses (2 cyl). Only thing done to it was getting the starter rebuilt and a couple changes on glow plugs. Not bad for 30 years of regular use!"
