"It seems like a great tractor so far. At 3500 hours it starts easily, has plenty of power, and doesn't burn any oil. Rear main has a slight leak. Radiator had to be repaired for a bad factory weld on the upper cap. Front cab glass was loose, but easily repaired. Just normal stuff on a used tractor. One downside is that the CC, Pfc, remote sense, Power beyond, hydraulic system is not compatible with most spools. So if you are thinking of adding a loader spool, be prepared to spend some serious cash. In retrospect I would buy a used loader that came off of a 5000 series tractor, that already had the spool. Of course you would still have to buy the power beyond plate for the remote stack ($400from Case) Using the remotes for a one way cylinder with a high flow return (post driver) is prohibited in the owners manual. The oil normally returned through the remotes is used to pre-charge the transmission. We are currently using it to pull a 3 yd paddle scraper to clean and deepen our dry tanks, thanks to the drought. It has no problem even in the tightest places. It will pull the scraper loaded in any gear. Maneuverability is great. "
"this is just a great tractor! it is the main tractor that we use to bail hay. it will start up on a cold day and runs like a champ."
